ad:tech nets Aussie digital star

Auckland’s big upcoming ad:tech conference has added Facebook’s Ellie Rogers to its roster of keynote speakers in town on Thursday 16 November.

Rogers currently heads up Facebook’s agency team in Australia and has been in the media world for 13 years, specialising in the interactive channels for the last seven. Prior to Facebook, she ran a 70-strong national digital team for Ikon communications, where she worked with a client base that included Coke, CBA, Myer, Diageo, Estée Lauder, Sony and Apple.

Sydney-based WPP chief strategy officer Rose Herceg as the latest keynote speaker at its marketing & media technology conference on Thursday 16 November.

On stage in Auckland, she’ll be joined by WPP Sydney chief strategy officer Rose Herceg, IAG Australia chief marketing officer Brent Smart (a former Colenso BBDO and Saatchi New York ceo), and Questus New York co-president Jeff Rosenblum (an author & filmmaker).

ad:tech aims to “redefine our understanding of digital and how the verticalisation of ad and martech will impact the future of marketing”, says the organiser, Avalon Group ceo Ryf Quail.
