The Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ has today announced the appointment of Paul Brooks to the role of Sydney-based ceo of Carat Australia and New Zealand. Brooks will take the reins from Simon Ryan.
Brooks has 20 years’ experience in both Australia and the UK, and brings with him significant management capabilities and a strong investment background.
Brooks has been part of DAN for the past three years, initially joining as Carat’s national head of investment and partnerships, before moving onto his most recent role as president of Amplifi, DAN’s media investment arm.
He replaces Ryan who was promoted to ceo of Dentsu Aegis Network in February this year.
He will head the Carat team of 450 people in Australia & NZ.
