Clemenger NZ acquires Perceptive

Clemenger Group New Zealand has announced it’s made a majority investment in market-leading research/customer intelligence company Perceptive Group Auckland.

The acquisition of Perceptive Group was a critical strategic priority for Clemenger as Perceptive provides a significant capability in data-driven marketing, said Clemenger Group NZ ceo Jim Moser.

Perceptive was founded in 2005 as a full-service market research company. Over the past 12 years, Perceptive has evolved into a customer-intelligence agency with a hybrid mix of talent and technology.

Perceptive drives client profitability through customer experience, insight led strategy, and data-driven decision making.

As one of New Zealand’s fastest growing agencies, Perceptive was recognised with two Deloitte Fast 50 awards, two Deloitte Asia Pacific Fast 500 awards, Westpac Business Excellence Awards, AUT Business Excellence Awards, and Research Industry Effectiveness Awards. Chris Pescott, the agency’s founder and ceo, was recognised as a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards – not once, but twice.
