Colmar Brunton has announced two senior appointments – both from within the company. Kerri Tait is moving into the chief client officer (Auckland) role and Brian Turner has been appointed as head of client service (Auckland).

The two appointments come as Colmar Brunton positions itself to capitalise on being one of New Zealand’s best known market insights and research agency, and build on the strong growth the agency experienced in 2017.

Kerry Tait’s previous role was group account director at Colmar Brunton. Turner’s was executive director, head of quantitative & sensory research. His new role now covers the whole client service team, including Qualitative research.

Tait brings a wealth of business experience with a strong background in senior client and agency relationships, business development and project management, and has been with Colmar Brunton for three years, previously holding senior roles at APN, Fairfax and Tangible Media.

“With his extensive experience in the insights industry, Brian Turner is well placed to lead the successful multi-disciplinary client service team,” said Colmar Brunton head Sarah Bolger. “He has more than 15 years of experience in market research, originally in international and boutique agencies based in London before his move to New Zealand.

“Both roles are effective immediately, and both based in Colmar Brunton’s Auckland office.”

“Leading a team boasting a wealth of expertise, his role will ensure clients’ needs are always at the forefront, and will offer a holistic approach to develop bespoke strategic solutions and customised insights delivery.

Bolger says the changes is part of a wider strategic approach. “As we continue to develop our business to ensure we are responsive to client needs, we need to be structured in a way that ensures we are delivering across the full extent of our insight capability,” she said.

“Kerri has a natural aptitude for spotting business solutions for her clients. Her energy, motivation and her outstanding client service capability makes her the ideal person to take on the chief client officer role in Auckland.

“With Brian having an overarching view of the client service team, their variety of skills and capacity will enable us to respond in a way that is more agile and meaningful to clients.”

Both roles are effective immediately, and both based in Colmar Brunton’s Auckland office.
