Auckland digital PR/activations agency Darkhorse has appointed Courtenay Clark as social media manager in its growing team. Clark has six years of social media experience, and has worked at Socialites in downtown Auckland, in-house at Città Design Auckland and most recently at Auckland digital design agency Hello.

Her past roles saw her leading key social accounts including Icebreaker, Spark, Mitre 10, House of Travel and Junk Free June.

Darkhorse head of digital Francesca Bowden says Clark is a perfect addition. “Courtenay brings fantastic experience – having been in social for over half a decade, her creative eye and background made her an ideal next hire for the team.”

The digital arm of the business, which launched in April last year, was a natural progression for the agency which already had well-developed public relations, activations and production divisions.

“It was an exciting step for Darkhorse to launch a digital division of the business, and one step closer to us becoming a complete 360 service agency for our clients,” said co-founder Mike Hewitt.

“Since April, we have launched multiple campaigns across social & digital with one of our most successful being the latest with DHL, the Pass the Parcel campaign created for the Rugby World Cup.”

25 on board
Darkhorse now totals 25 professionals across the its activations, PR and digital divisions. Clients include Heineken, Moet Hennessy, Mercedes-Benz, Movember, Nokia, DHL Express and ASB Classic.
