Tickets for Effie 2017 go on sale tomorrow (Friday 22 September). M+AD will publish the purchase link in our daily edition, which hits the streets around 1pm.
The awards event will be held in the Great Room at the Langham on Thursday 19 October. Pre-dinner drinks kickstart the show at 6.30pm, with the presentations getting under way at 7.30pm.
The Comms Council has yet to publish the ticket price, but promises to do so tomorrow.
Effie 2017 is sponsored by TVNZ, NZME, Nielsen, Bauer, Facebook, Adshel, The Radio Bureau and Soar Print.
Effies workshop
There’s also to be a half-day Comms Council effectiveness workshop, starring Effies International Judge Chris Baker, in Auckland on Thursday 12 October.
The workshop is designed for people that want to understand how they can add value to their client relationships and want to deliver strategic direction and business value.
Tickets cost $895, and the venue is the NZME building at 2 Graham Street. The doors open for registration at 8.30am, and the workshop runs from 8.45am to 1pm. Refreshments will be available upon arrival, with a morning tea break.
