Ad Stars Korea has issued a global entry call to agencies, creatives, production companies, and students to submit their entries (free of charge) to the 11th Ad Stars festival.

Entries close on Tuesday 15 May. With the theme Connect!, the awards event will be held on Thursday 23 August to Saturday the 25th at Bexco (Busan Exhibition and Conference Centre).

Established in 2008, Ad Stars received 21,530 entries last year. While most global festivals earn profits from entry fees, Ad Stars is free to enter – but still carries a US$10,000 cash prize for the Grand Prix winners.

Entries are now open in the following 17 categories: Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio & Audio, Design, Interactive, Mobile, Data Insights, Social & Influencer, PR, Promotion, Direct, Media, Integrated, Innovation, and Place brand.

Video Stars award
Ad Stars is also seeking entries to its Video Stars award categories, which celebrate groundbreaking work in the following formats: Branded Information Videos; Branded Entertainment Videos; Branded Viral Videos; Campaign Videos (Case Film); and Non Branded Videos.

Public Service categories
Ad Stars also celebrates world-leading PSA (Public Service Advertising) campaigns and is now inviting entries in the following PSA categories, which will be in the running to win the PSA Grand Prix of the Year: Green; Human Rights; Education; Healthcare; Gender Equality; Peace & Justice; Partnerships and Others.

“As a festival not just for those in the ad industry but also for everyone, we are committed to making the world a better place to live in by celebrating creative solutions that enhance humanity’s happiness,” says festival chairperson Eui Ja Lee.

Preliminary judging will take place from Wednesday 20 June to Wednesday 27th, while final judging will take immediately prior to the festival.
