Semi Permanent Auckland

Aug 11 – 12, 2017

The Mecca for creatives, entrepreneurs and designers, Semi Permanent, is back in Auckland at the Aotea Centre, running from Thursday 10 August to Saturday 12 August.

“What was once a niche event for ‘creative types’ continues to grow in relevance and importance as creativity and design come to the fore as increasingly important elements for careers and business,” says NZ director Simon Velvin.

This year’s speaker line-up is a rollcall of names of some of the best minds from today’s biggest global companies – Facebook director of product Dantley Davis, Uber advanced technologies CD Erik Klimczak, and Google Search head of design Hector Ouilhet.

Cult leaders will abound, including renowned book designer Irma Boom, leading scent artist & designer Sissel Tolass, HaydenShapes surfboard designer Hayden Cox, renowned typeface designer Tobias Frere Jones, and leading NZ contemporary artist Michael Parekowhai. And many more.
