TVNZ has appointed Jonathan Symons to the new executive role of marketing director, responsible for its marketing, Blacksand, and the research, data & insights teams.
“Jonathan has been at TVNZ for four years as our GM Research, Data & Insights during which time he’s led a massive shift in the way we listen to and learn from our viewers,” said ceo Kevin Kenrick.
“He’s previously held executive level marketing positions at ASB and has worked in a range of media and agency roles. Jonathan’s wide experience across marketing and insights, and his healthy obsession with being consumer-led make him the ideal candidate to lead the wider marketing team.”
