CAANZ social media legals a sellout

The CAANZ Legal Seminar|When Social Media Goes Bad has touched a nerve – all 50 seats to the event at Simpson Greerson on Wednesday 4 March have been snapped up (at $85+gst per head).

“We have had an outstanding response from both industry members and their clients, and we are completely sold out,” CAANZ industry development manager Marlen Smith told MAD this morning.

The seminar will feature leading media law expert Tracey Walker highlighting some of the important legal lessons from 2014, including privacy, reputation management and intellectual property issues. She will also offer practical tips and examples on how to minimise legal risks around agencies’ use of social media.
