Arrivals & Departures: DAN ANZ taps Oz-based ceo

MELBOURNE, Today: Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed Henry Tajer to the role of Sydney-based ceo across Australia and New Zealand, following an extensive global executive search.

Tajer has two decades of experience spanning media, creative and digital services, and joins the group from Amazon, where he held the role of managing director, media services.

His previous international leadership roles include global ceo at IPG Mediabrands and APAC president at Universal McCann.

Singapore-based DAN APAC ceo Nick Waters said: “We have a large and diverse business across Australia and New Zealand which requires the high calibre leadership that Henry will provide. “An exceptional operator, Henry’s appointment will reinforce our leadership position as we enable our clients and staff to navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing market.”

Henry Tajer assumes the new role from Monday 18 February and will be based at Dentsu Aegis Network’s Sydney office.
