We are looking for a Strategy Director who can develop high level strategic thinking across multi-disciplines, with a focus on strategic channel planning and creative media ideas. As a Strategy Director, you will be responsible for the ongoing strategic output for your clients, bringing to life the dentsu vision of partners in meaningful progress. The majority of work will be in the form of response to briefs however there is an expectation for bigger picture thinking that will help to raise the bar of our current and potential clients’ communications strategies.

Role Responsibilities:

  • High level strategic planning capability across multi-disciplines, with a focus in channel planning and creative media ideas
  • Primary focus on Media Brands
  • Take, challenge, deconstruct and focus client briefs
  • Develop and sell insight-led solutions through clever storytelling
  • Gather and identify actionable consumer insights and trends using a broad range of sources, including quantitative tools such as Asteroid, CCS, CCS Planner.
  • Effective management of others 
  • Collaboration with the business teams to ensure strategic thinking is translated into media ideation and planning Lead and support out of scope strategic project work and new business pitches to deliver to dentsu’s commercial goals
  • Build relationships with key clients and dentsu businesses to identify opportunities for growth
  • Write and develop award entries.
  • Plan and run internal and external strategic sessions including idea generation
  • Building external recognition of the dentsu group and themselves through thought pieces in trade press / websites
