AUCKLAND, Today: Leading customer intelligence agency Perceptive has announced that Andy Strain will be joining the team as senior research analyst this month.

Stepping into a new role in the research department, Strain will be involved in client management and research reports, as well as interpreting data and predicting current and future consumer trends.

Strain is coming from market research agency Colmar Brunton where his focus was on quantitative research, mainly in advertising testing. There, he worked with clients across a wide and varied range of industries including FMCG, telecommunications, insurance, healthcare, retail, TV/media and PR.

“I am most excited to be joining such a fast- paced and energetic team,” he said. “Perceptive are doing such interesting work right now, utilising the latest in technology and customer monitoring techniques, it’s going to be great to be a part of that.

“Previously, Andy Strain was the Colmar Brunton executive who ran M+AD-Daily’s Top 10 TVCs monthly feature.”

“It is also incredibly motivating to be joining Perceptive as part of the wider Clemenger Group and having access to all opportunities that that brings.”

Perceptive ceo Chris Pescott said the new appointment is based on the continued success and growth the company has experienced over the past 12 months.

“We are thrilled to have Andy join us at Perceptive,” Pescott said. “Andy brings with him a wealth of experience and we are confident his skill set will add a new and valuable dynamic to the team, which will allow us to further provide our clients with the best customer research and analysis available.”

Previously, Andy Strain was the Colmar Brunton executive who ran M+AD-Daily’s Top 10 TVCs monthly feature.
