Auckland music production house Smoke is stepping out for another spin with Mediaworks, creating all the dance tracks for the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars.
The company will reprise its role after providing bespoke tracks for the show’s sixth season in 2015.
With its return announced in December last year, Dancing with the Stars will see Smoke’s team of music industry producers, led by Nic Manders (Brooke Fraser, Katchafire) creating more than 90 songs over 12 weeks for the show.
“We’re excited to be working with DWTS again,” says Smoke boss Mark de Jong, “These are just the kind of hothouse projects we love, seeing our HQ packed with musicians, producers, and contestants alike.”
