Vimeo names Kathmandu Summer Never Sleeps film in Best of the Year

AUCKLAND, Monday: B Corp-certified NZ outdoor clothing supplier Kathmandu, and its creative agency, Special, have been recognised in Vimeo’s has released global Best of the Year selection for 2022 – for Kathmandu’s Summer Never Sleeps.

The elite list features just 10 branded and 10 unbranded films, from the content on offer from Vimeo’s 300 million monthly users.

The film was produced by Scoundrel AU director Daniel Warwick.

The badge of recognition is quite an honour for Special and Kathmandu, to be ranked alongside recent years’ winners like Apple, Burberry, Nike and Libresse.

It was warmly welcomed by the film’s director, Scoundrel’s Daniel Warwick, as the best acknowledgement he’s ever received.

Summer Never Sleeps highlighted summer as a time for spontaneity, following a group of friends on their quirky summer adventure from night to day, and into night again.

The film is built on Kathmandu’s brand platform We’re Out There.
