2025 Gerety shortlist unveiled

AUCKLAND, Today: Gerety Awards reveals the global shortlist along with the agency and production company of the year by country titles.

Shortlisted entries among others include The Final Copy of Ilon Specht by McCann Paris, Unwrap The Summer by LOLA MullenLowe Spain, Nutter Butter, You Good? by Dentsu Creative New York and Trust Bars for Heineken® by LePub APAC Singapore.

Judging sessions were held around the world, and this week you can watch the jury insight panels LIVE from UK, USA, Brazil, Canada, France, Australia, South East Asia, Romania, LATAM, Spain, South Africa, MEA and Colombia

Shortlist Highlights

  • Germany, USA, UK and France are the countries with more works among the finalists.
  • VML is the most shortlisted network
  • Kazakhstan, Paraguay and Croatia get into the shortlist for the first time at Gerety.
  • Art Direction sees the most shortlisted entries into the Craft CUT with works including Unwrap The Summer, Connecting Europe and In Hot Water.
  • The most shortlisted campaign is Dancing Washers for Whirlpool by VML México.
  • The Grand jury will now choose the final winners which will be announced Tuesday, September 2. It will include Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Grand Prix, along with the overall Network and Agency of the year winners.

The 2025 Agency and Production Company of the year by country winners are:

  • German Agency of the Year: SERVICEPLAN GERMANY
  • Spanish Agency of the Year: El Ruso de Rocky
  • MEA Agency of the Year: MullenLowe MENA
  • JAPAN Agency of the Year: Hakuhodo
  • Australian Production Company of the Year: FINCH
  • Spanish Production Company of the Year: Primo
  • Canadian Production Company of the Year: Grayson Music
  • USA Production Company of the Year: Eleanor

Central & Eastern Europe Production Company of the year: Papaya Films
