
AUCKLAND, Today: A record haul of entries has poured into the 2025 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards, underscoring digital’s central role in business and marketing across Aotearoa.
Now in its ninth year, the Awards recognise standout practitioners and work. Over 125 experts judged 30 categories, including the new ‘Best Use of Generative AI’.
Executive Judge Convenor, Gareth Codd says, “The continued growth of the IAB NZ Digital Advertising Awards reflects the momentum of the digital advertising sector.
“As technology accelerates and creates new opportunities, the work being created only gets better, and this year’s entries are among the strongest we’ve ever seen.”
Multiple-category recognition includes Dentsu with 21 finalist nods; PHD Media 17; MBM and Together 10 each; NZME 9; and TVNZ and Stuff with 7 apiece.

After a second round of Executive Judging, winners will be revealed at the 2025 IAB New Zealand Digital Awards Show on Thursday 20 November, Shed 10, Level 1.
