Arrivals & Departures: PHD taps Jo Hartley, promotes Jodie Bennett

PHD Group NZ today announced it has appointed Jo Hartley as head of trading & investment. She’s ex Dentsu Aegis NZ where she was trading director.

“Jo is well respected in the industry by media partners and clients alike,” said OMG NZ chief investment officer Scott Keddie.

“She is clearly driven by the importance of negotiations, trading and investment to the overall delivery of strong business results for her clients, which is evidenced by the work she has done over her career.

“She will be a strong addition to the industry-leading team at PHD Group.”

Jo Hartley said: “The media landscape is moving faster than ever before and we need to be both agile and curious in order to deliver extraordinary outputs. I believe strongly in collaborative partnerships and effective strategies to maximise a clients’ return on investment and I am excited to be able to work with the varied and interesting portfolio of clients at PHD Group.”

PHD Group also announced the promotion of Jodie Bennett to the role of director of investment and accountability. Jodie is a PHD veteran, having worked at the agency for 10 years.

Both Hartley and Bennett will report into Scott Keddie. Bennett’s appointment is effective immediately; Hartley commences with the agency on January 9.
