The Business of Influence expands beauty portfolio

AUCKLAND, Today: PR consultant Amanda McConchie – who owns The Business of Influence PR – has expanded her roster of beauty products, and is now representing new cosmetics brand Aleph Beauty.

The New Zealand brand has been developed by Auckland-based professional and natural makeup artist Emma Peters, who has been pioneering the use of natural cosmetics for the last 20 years.

Peter’s experience in the television and fashion industries gave her first-hand insight into how makeup contributed to problem skin and general ill-health. Her simple thought was to create makeup that was good for the skin and that acted as much like skincare as it does cosmetics.

“With her holistic approach to beauty, Emma believes everybody deserves to experience luxury and radiate beauty without harming the planet of themselves,” says McConchie.

“Aleph Beauty’s ethos is centred around formulating natural products that support the health and wellbeing of people and the environment we live in.”

“This is the second natural, NZ-made beauty brand we have acquired.”

This is the second natural and New Zealand-made beauty brand The Business of Influence PR has acquired; in December, Napier’s Corbin Rd. was the first to be represented by McConchie.

Founded by brand-builder and entrepreneur Wendy Nowell-Usticke (formerly co-founder of Thin Lizzy Mineral Makeup), the luxurious new Corbin Rd two-step skincare system has been formulated to cleanse, exfoliate, and deliver nutrient-infused rehydrated skin, while making the least impact on the planet through sustainable and reusable initiatives.
