WELLINGTON, Today: Creative agency Doublefish has created a confronting new campaign to raise funds for Women’s Refuge’s Winter Appeal Month.
CEO Dr Ang Jury said: “For victims of domestic abuse it may take many attempts to finally achieve safety.
“On average it takes a victim seven attempts to leave an abuser. A statistic like this is confronting and raises questions over why it would require anyone s many attempts to leave a relationship where someone is abusing them.
“Our 2019 Winter Campaign is taking on this very issue – “Why doesn’t she just leave?”
