AUCKLAND, Today: Publicis Groupe has strengthened its presence in the New Zealand market, announcing two NZ-based roles to support their growing suite of local brands including Saatchi & Saatchi, Starcom, Zenith, Frontside and the recently acquired MBM and Digitas Affinity ID.

Lucy Sparks has joined Publicis Groupe as business development manager and is working across all of the group’s agencies in New Zealand, while being “closely integrated” into the ANZ Publicis network.

Sparks has extensive experience in account management across a wide range of sectors from fanking and fmcg to tourism and automotive at high profile local agencies, including two previous terms at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Sparks said: “We have some of the best people in the business and a truly collaborative culture. Now, with the addition of MBM and Digitas Affinity ID, we are even better positioned to offer end-to-end marketing transformation to clients.”

Publicis Groupe has also appointed Jayde Hill as people & culture business partner. Hill is focused on the development of talent in New Zealand while working in “close partnership” with her Australian Groupe colleagues. Her international experience spans talent acquisition and management, employer branding and employee wellbeing roles in Australia and the UK.

“Lucy and Jayde are instrumental in helping us strengthen our culture as we grow.”

Hill said: “When I first learned about the Groupe’s collaborative Power of One philosophy, the attraction was immediate, and it was clear from speaking with the people here that the Groupe genuinely stood by this way of working.

“Staff are empowered to ensure clients come first whilst keeping their own happiness at the forefront. Our people strategy aligns with our business strategy, which in my opinion is the perfect recipe for success.”

Sydney-based Publicis Groupe ANZ  ceo Michael Rebelo says the introduction of such key roles has already had a widespread positive impact on the agencies, and is further evidence of the commitment Publicis Groupe has to the New Zealand market.

“Lucy and Jayde are proving to be instrumental in helping us strengthen our culture and our collective capabilities as we grow, ensuring the best outcomes for both our people and clients,” he said.
