AUCKLAND, Today: Ex-marketing-professor-gone-rogue Mark Ritson is back in the headlines today, with details of a new Comms Council course and Bauer Media’s filmed version of his Auckland address last week.

A Comms Council flyer says: “We’ve teamed up with leading marketing academic Professor Mark Ritson to bring you a unique 12-week online Marketing Week Mini MBA, led by Mark.

“The Marketing Week Mini MBA in Marketing covers the same core marketing modules as leading MBA programmes, but in just 12 online lessons followed by an MBA standard end-of-term assessment.

“Over 3600 marketers and professionals have completed the course since its inauguration in 2016 with overwhelmingly positive feedback across every intake and an average NPS score of +72.

“The Comms Council/Ritson Mini MBA will run two courses this year.”

“The online course is developed and presented by Mark Ritson, and is appropriate for a wide range of audiences, including managers and executives from other disciplines.

“The Mini MBA will run two courses in 2020 – on Tuesday 21 April & Tuesday 22 September

“The course is being offered at the discounted price of UK£1150 [NZ$2347].”

The interview
And this, from Bauer’s Kaylene Hurley: “We were thrilled to partner with Comms Council last week by bringing Mark Ritson to present The Big Lessons in Marketing Effectiveness.

“A lot of what Mark promotes aligns with our overarching reason for being, which is enriching the hearts and minds of all New Zealanders.”

“In addition to the event at Sky City we had the privilege of interviewing Mark with questions we had sourced from our agency partners.
