SYDNEY, Tuesday: Bauer Media Australia has announced the “permanent” closure of eight titles – Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, InStyle, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Good Health, NW and OK.
The titles had been suspended in May amid a decline in ad revenue for many Bauer mags.
“The digital versions will cease publication as well.”
Bauer blamed Covid-19, and said (via an unsigned PR release): “These titles will not return, and digital versions will cease publication as well.”
