SINGAPORE, Last Night: New Zealand won 47 awards at the Spikes Asia – the second-highest total in the region, after Australia (with 78).
Australia scored 20 Gold Spikes, while New Zealand picked up 10 – shared by Colenso BBDO Auckland, Special Group Auckland, and DDB Aotearoa, with three apiece. TBWA\Auckland scored one gold.
India & Thailand each have 7 Gold Spikes, Japan 6, Singapore 3, Malaysia 2, and Taiwan and Pakistan were awarded 1 Gold each.
“3 Golds each for Colenso, Special, DDB – and 1 to TBWA\.”
In total, the Spikes handed out 293 awards (gold, silver and bronze) across 23 categories this year.
The Grands Prix and Special Award winners will be revealed on Thursday 4 March.
