Whybin\TBWA joint CDs Lisa Fedyszyn & Jonathan McMahon have resigned, and left the Auckland agency. At press time, it was not clear what their plans are – although both have talked about looking overseas.

Fedyszyn and McMahon are among the highest-regarded creatives in the world – currently ranked No 2 and 3 on the global Bestads 10-year rankings chart (. The pair has been recognised extensively in New Zealand and overseas at D&AD, Cannes, Clio, London International Awards, The One Show and Young Guns.

“They left just before Christmas,” ECD Dave King told M+AD this morning. King said he “caught up with them last week”. “They’re playing their cards pretty close to their chest – so won’t be commenting in the near future.

King said the company is now taking the opportunity to look at the make-up of the creative department.

Fedyszyn, meanwhile, has been busy working as an executive juror on the London International Awards and the New York Festivals.
