AUCKLAND, Today: Go Media is stepping onto the court with Stars Netball as naming rights partner for the 2025 season, with their logo front and centre on game day kit.

The move kicks off just in time for the new ANZ Premiership season, with the Go Media Stars taking on the Mystics this Sunday at Eventfinda Stadium, North Shore.

“We’re huge supporters of netball and were approached by our partners at Netball NZ with an opportunity to back the Stars by being front and centre as their naming rights partner” says Go Media Managing Director Mike Gray.

“It’s more than just a sponsorship; it’s about standing behind a team that represents the heart of our community. This season should be a cracker.”

Go Media’s netball support doesn’t stop there — they also back the Mystics, Pulse, Magic, Tactix and Steel, along with Netball NZ itself.

“Netball is a hugely important part of New Zealand’s communities. It has hundreds of thousands of incredibly passionate fans, players and supporters around the country.

“We’re proud to be playing our part in backing this incredible game and to help inspire the next generation of Silver Ferns,” says Gray.

Stars Netball GM Jane Bennett says it’s great to lock in Go Media for the season and complete their commercial roster.

“We are thrilled to be the Go Media Stars for the 2025 season. We have strong value alignment with Go Media and admire their leadership and business philosophy,” says Bennett.

“Our team will wear their logo with pride and I am excited to see what we can do together.”

The sponsorship expands Go Media’s Auckland presence, adding to a list that includes Auckland FC, The Blues, local rugby unions, Auckland Cricket, Tennis, Emirates Team NZ, Mea Motu and Go Media Stadium.

“Our focus has always been to encourage things that make Auckland a great place to live. It’s wonderful to be involved in organisations that give so much to the community and inspire our tamariki,” says Gray.
