
AUCKLAND, Today: The IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards are back for 2025, calling for entries that showcase the best in talent, creativity, and tech-driven work across the digital landscape.
In 2024, the industry hit $2.422 billion in revenue—a 10.8% increase year-on-year¹. Digital now accounts for 67.4% of all ad revenue in New Zealand, up 4.5 points, and still risings².
This year introduces a brand-new category: Best Use of Generative AI, spotlighting cutting-edge innovation across media, creative and customer experience, and the brands using AI to reimagine what’s possible.
“This category acknowledges the breakthrough thinking already shaping our industry,” says Angelina Farry, CEO of IAB New Zealand. “It’s an exciting addition to an awards programme built to celebrate effective, and innovative work.”

Also returning is the Creative Agency of the Year category, which gives agencies the chance to shine a light on standout digital work, creative thinking, smart partnerships and next-level innovation.

The Awards Show will take place at Shed 10, Auckland, on Thursday 20 November 2025. It’s set to welcome over 400 of the industry’s sharpest minds for a night of recognition and inspiration.
