AUCKLAND, Today: A crew of nine top creatives is heading to Las Vegas to judge the LIA 2025 Creativity in B2B and Transformative Business Impact categories at Encore @ Wynn.
Leading the charge is Gavin Chimes, Chief Creative Officer at Howatson+Company in Sydney. As part of the agency’s founding team, he’s helped rack up major wins at LIA, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Spikes and the ANDYs.
He’s also been crowned Australian Creative of the Year and has picked up multiple Grand Awards along the way. No surprise he’s been named jury president for this year’s show.
“Gone are the days where B2B is looked down upon as a creative category. It’s now where the world’s most inspiring and enviable work is entered.
“Just look at Spotify’s Spreadbeats or Aizome’s Wastecare. Brilliant ideas that drip with craft and strategic thinking. I’m honoured to be chairing the jury for Creativity in B2B and Transformative Business Impact this year.
“I look forward to the lively discussions with some of the best minds in the industry, as we unpack the work that moves businesses, brands and creativity itself forward.” – Gavin Chimes
“I look forward to the lively discussions with some of the best minds in the industry, as we unpack the work that moves businesses, brands and creativity itself forward,” says Gavin.
Australia has long punched above its weight at LIA, and Gavin’s appointment reinforces just how much the region shapes global creative standards.
B2B isn’t what it used to be. Today, it’s all about creating seamless, surprising, and innovative experiences that drive real business impact. And buyers expect personalisation at every turn.
LIA President Barbara Levy says Gavin’s leadership is bound to inspire. “We are excited to see what work emerges victorious from this jury, under the leadership of Gavin.
“Over the years, since LIA started the Creativity in B2B and Transformative Business Impact competitions, the winning pieces of work have never disappointed. It has been work that made creative people envious.
“We expect it will be so again this year.”
