
AUCKLAND, Today: Hutt Sounds is back for 2026, lighting up Brewtown in Upper Hutt on Sunday 8 March with a stacked lineup of international stars and Kiwi favourites ready to bring the hits.
This year’s roster features Tony Hadley (ex-Spandau Ballet), New York’s Fun Lovin’ Criminals, UK singer Lloyd Cole, Mi-Sex, When The Cat’s Away, and Jan Hellriegel—making it the festival’s biggest lineup yet.
First release tickets are already available from www.huttsounds.co.nz, coinciding with today’s announcement. With demand expected to soar, early birds will want to grab theirs fast.
Proudly presented by Plus1, Hutt Sounds promises classic anthems, good vibes, craft brews, great food, and one of the friendliest crowds in the capital.
HUTT SOUNDS 2026 LINEUP
TONY HADLEY (UK, ex-Spandau Ballet) The iconic voice behind True, Gold, and Only When You Leave will deliver a full set of Spandau Ballet favourites alongside hits from his solo career. Auckland fans can catch him live at The Powerstation on 6 March.
FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS (USA) Expect swagger, wit, and 90s gems like Scooby Snacks, Loco, and Love Unlimited, with their genre-blending sound sure to keep Brewtown dancing.
WHEN THE CAT’S AWAY (NZ) Annie Crummer, Debbie Harwood, Kim Willoughby and Dianne Swann reunite for a joyful set packed with Melting Pot, Asian Paradise, and more.
MI-SEX (NZ/AUS) Synth-pop pioneers and festival favourites return with classics like Computer Games, People, and Blue Day, delivering another dose of new wave nostalgia.
LLOYD COLE (UK) The songwriter’s songwriter, famous for Perfect Skin, Rattlesnakes, and Brand New Friend, brings his storytelling and melodic Brit pop to the stage.
JAN HELLRIEGEL (NZ) From The Way I Feel to Tremble, Jan’s career-spanning set will showcase her acclaimed catalogue and stage presence.
