AUCKLAND, Today: oOh!media is shaking up its New Zealand leadership, with current Head of Marketing Kelly Harvey stepping into the newly created role of Head of NZ, while long-time GM Nick Vile prepares to depart in 2026.
oOh!media CEO ANZ Cathy O’Connor says, “As outlined in our Half Year Financial Results in August, as part of the conclusion of the Auckland Transport contract we’re reshaping our New Zealand operations.
“These changes will align with future opportunities and the next chapter for our New Zealand operation. We will continue to transparently work with our team during this consultation period.”
Nick Vile’s departure marks the end of an extraordinary 15-year run spanning both Adshel and oOh!media. From guiding the Adshel integration in 2018 to steering the business through milestones and challenges, his leadership shaped the industry.
oOh!media says Vile’s integrity, innovation and heart have left an enduring impact. His decision to step aside opens the door to new adventures, with the company thanking him for his remarkable contribution.
As part of the restructure, Kelly Harvey moves into the newly created Head of NZ role. With seven years in the Out of Home sector, including six leading oOh!’s marketing, she’ll guide the business into its next chapter.
“I’m honoured to step into this role at such a pivotal time for our NZ business. I’m committed to building on the strong foundation Nick has created and excited to work with Robbie Dery and the AU team.” – Kelly Harvey
Her appointment reflects deep market knowledge, creativity and a collaborative leadership style. It’s also a nod to Vile’s commitment to succession planning and talent development within the team.
Sharing his thoughts, Vile says, “It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m proud of everything we’ve built together. After 15 years, it feels like the right time to step aside and make space for new leadership.
“I’m excited about what’s next and deeply grateful for the people, partnerships, and purpose that have defined my time at oOh!”
Harvey adds, “I’m honoured to step into this role at such a pivotal time for our NZ business. I’m committed to building on the strong foundation Nick has created and excited to work with Robbie Dery and the AU team, and lead our team into the next chapter and continue delivering for our partners and communities.”
Further updates on wider structural changes are expected in the coming weeks as the consultation process continues.
