AUCKLAND, Today: Wendy’s has turned an April Fools’ prank into reality, thanks to fans who refused to let it go. Meet the Baconator Frosty – the salty-sweet mash-up nobody expected, but everybody demanded.
It’s a creamy vanilla Frosty drizzled with caramel, packed with candied bacon chips, finished with maple syrup and crispy bacon bits. Bold, indulgent and destined to take over your social feeds.
But September isn’t just about the Frosty. Wendy’s is bringing the full Baconator line-up, including the OG Baconator, the crunchy Chickenator, loaded Baconator Fries, and the much-loved Cheesenator making its long-awaited comeback.
“The Baconator isn’t just a burger, it’s baked into Wendy’s DNA here in New Zealand,” says Corina Black, Wendy’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer.
“Kiwis know it, love it and this year they’ve called the shots – the Cheesenator is back, alongside the Baconator Frosty, the salty-sweet masterpiece they demanded make it to the real-life menu.”
While the Baconator, Chickenator and Baconator Fries stick around year-round, the Cheesenator and Frosty are limited-time legends, available nationwide this September while stocks last.
