AUCKLAND, Today: AI is everywhere now, including the classroom, but students and teachers are still finding their footing.

Google wants Young Ones entrants to explore how Gemini’s multimodal models can move learning beyond tools and into something genuinely transformative.

Elsewhere, global health tech brand Philips is asking you to help show young parents how Sonicare for Kids can turn brushing into a lifelong daily habit.

Then there’s Verizon. With sceptical Gen Z audiences in mind, how can bold, unexpected thinking prove it’s not just the most reliable US network, but also the one with the best deals?

Beyond those briefs, there are seven more to tackle, from Bar-S and Best Buy to Clash of Clans, Coca-Cola, Sunsilk, Walmart and Whiskas.

“Submissions closing February 27 before fees rise ahead of the March 13 final deadline.”

Every Young Ones One Show entrant can also submit their idea to the Client Pitch Competition for free, with the chance to pitch live at Creative Week 2026 in New York.

One standout team will take home $2,500, but that’s not the only path to Young Ones success. You can also enter work you’re already creating, whether that’s in class or on your own time.

Young Ones ADC covers disciplines like advertising, design, filmmaking, photography and animation, while Young Ones TDC focuses on typography and lettering.

Young Ones Portfolio rounds things out, rewarding consistency and creativity across a full body of work.

You can enter all four challenges, but you’ll need to move fast, with submissions closing February 27 before fees rise ahead of the March 13 final deadline.
