AUCKLAND, Today: Multiplied is heading offshore for the first time, setting up shop in Sydney and bringing in seasoned agency leader Alex Edwards as partner to run the new operation.
Launched in 2021 by Tom Roydhouse, Aaron Taylor and Troy Fuller, the trio bring a combined 50 years’ experience across Auckland, Sydney and London.
Back home, the agency has built momentum working with brands including Heineken, Pernod Ricard, Kiwi Property, ANZCO, Vinarchy, Goodman Fielder and Auckland Airport, helping them grow awareness, shift perception and spark action.
The Aussie move comes off the back of client demand and early talks with prospects keen to tap its Relentlessly Commercial approach.
“We’ve spent years proving that creativity and commercial success can, and should, go hand in hand. We have seen a positive response from our clients in New Zealand and judging by our talks, Australia’s marketers are craving the same.
“Multiplied isn’t just another creative agency, it’s built for brands that refuse to stand still.” – Alex Edwards
“We’re bringing our brand of creative thinking across the Tasman, same impact, slightly warmer weather.” said Aaron Taylor, partner at Multiplied New Zealand.
Edwards steps in to lead the Sydney office, bringing more than 25 years’ experience helping brands break category norms and drive measurable growth.
His background includes senior roles at The General Store, Momentum Worldwide, The Works, Clemenger BBDO and Ogilvy, spanning brand comms, shopper marketing and retail experience.
“Multiplied isn’t just another creative agency, it’s built for brands that refuse to stand still. There’s a real appetite in Australia for partners who don’t just talk about creativity but prove its impact.
“I’m excited to bring this thinking to Sydney and work with ambitious brands that want to make a real commercial difference.” said Edwards.
The launch marks the next phase of Multiplied’s push to drive commercial success for ambitious brands, with a model focused on stronger brands, real demand and measurable results.
