AUCKLAND, Today: Two new hires are bolstering Anthem’s comms muscle, with senior specialist Conor Roberts and rising talent Alicia Lemmer joining the integrated agency as it expands leadership strength and consultancy depth.
Co-founder and CEO Carolyn Kerr says the move reflects growing client demand for experienced strategic counsel alongside investment in emerging communications talent.
“In his Executive Director role, Conor provides clients deep experience across strategic corporate affairs, reputation, stakeholder and crisis management at a time when organisations are operating under unprecedented scrutiny,” says Kerr.

“Conor’s appointment significantly strengthens our senior advisory expertise. At the same time, we are committed to investing in emerging talent, and Alicia joins us as an Account Executive, bringing strong capability shaped through her leadership experience, impressive academic grounding and hands-on campaign work.”
Roberts brings extensive corporate affairs and PR experience, guiding organisations through complex, high-profile situations spanning financial comms, government relations, investment messaging, M&A activity, and senior in-house leadership roles at One NZ and NZ Super Fund.
Lemmer recently completed business and communications degrees at AUT and has already built experience across advocacy, governance, and public sector engagement, alongside leadership roles including President of the AUT Student Association.
Together, the hires deepen Anthem’s corporate comms offering as demand rises for senior-led strategic advice and experienced consultancy support.
