Inside New Zealand’s FY25 new business results

AUCKLAND, Today: Omnicom Media topped New Zealand’s FY 2025 total new business rankings at group level, according to COMvergence’s latest New Zealand New Business Barometer.

The group generated $26.5 million in new business, helped by wins including Sky Network at $6.8 million, Ryman at $4.3 million and Hunting & Fishing at $3.9 million.

Publicis Media ranked second with $21.7 million, backed by Mars at $2.9 million, Asahi at $2.2 million and EssilorLuxottica at $1.9 million.


Mediabrands came in third, generating $2.5 million in total new business. At agency level, MBM took out the top spot with $16.9 million in total new business.

That result was driven by Briscoe Group at $14 million, along with Paramount at $1.9 million and Campari at $0.9 million.

PHD ranked second at agency level with $13.4 million, thanks largely to wins including Sky Network at $6.8 million and Ryman at $4.3 million.

OMD placed third with $12 million, led by Flooring Xtra at $4.8 million and Freedom at $1.8 million.

Across FY 2025, COMvergence tracked 47 media account moves and retentions with a combined value of $91 million.
