AUCKLAND, Today: ANZ is marking Auckland FC’s jaw-dropping debut season with something unexpected — a limited-edition vinyl. Dubbed Record Season, it celebrates the club’s unforgettable highlights in style.

Crafted by TBWA\NZ, it’s more than just merch. It’s a fusion of sport, sound and street — a love letter to the city that backed AFC from day one. Only 150 hand-numbered vinyls were pressed locally by Holiday Records. They’ve gone to players, superfans and proud locals. You can also stream the soundtrack on Spotify.

Shane Bradnick, TBWA\NZ’s CCO, said, “From Day One shirts to Record Season, we’ve treated this sponsorship like a creative platform, not a logo placement.

“Record Season is more than a piece of vinyl – it’s a thank-you note to Auckland, crafted in a way that only a culturally driven brand could do. We wanted to create something that felt genuinely special – a lasting, physical tribute to an unforgettable debut year.”

AFC CEO Nick Becker added, “This season has been about more than football; it’s been about building something our city can believe in.

“From the roar of the crowd to those spine-tingling moments on the pitch, Record Season captures the heartbeat of our debut year. ANZ has been with us every step of the way, and we’re delighted with the tribute.”

ANZ’s CEO Antonia Watson said, “AFC have given this city a much-needed boost of energy, fostering a sense of pride and community. “We’re really proud to have supported them since day one.”

The vinyl celebrates moments like AFC’s record-breaking six-win start, a 532-minute defensive streak, and electric, sell-out crowds. It follows ANZ’s Day One campaign, where more than 200 limited-edition shirts were hidden across the city, sparking a citywide hunt.

That campaign helped launch the Auckland Forever platform — spotlighting the love between the team, the city and the fans.

Now, with Record Season, ANZ has dropped one last gift — backed by a citywide OOH and social push that simply says, “Thank You Auckland.”
