Assignment Group has hired Kathryn Robinson as strategist/planning director. Previously, she was JWT Auckland head of planning. Also new at Assignment are Aimee McCammon (in a senior marketing role), and Amanda Oliver, who joins as head designer.
McCammon is the partner of Clemenger ECD Philip Andrew. She’s worked previously at Mojo, Saatchi, DDB, and Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post (as general manager).
Also on the move is Magazine Publishers Association commercial director Katrina Horton, who is joining Bauer Media as brand manager for Next.
“It’s all positive,” Horton told M+AD. “I’ve enjoyed my time at the MPA, but it’s time to do something different. I was a one-man band at the MPA”
The MPA is now considering how to replace her – and Horton is emphatic her replacement should be someone with a commercial focus.
