AUCKLAND, Today: NZ’s largest 100% locally owned outdoor company Go Media has grabbed another refugee from Bauer, appointing Ros Ellison as Wellington sales manager. Previously, Ellison handled Wellington agency business for Bauer.

Go Media GM Simon Teagle said: “With Bauer shutting up shop, and our portfolio growth in the region, we took the opportunity to recruit Ros for the role.

“Wellington is a very important market to Go Media and we are firm in the belief that locals prefer to deal with locals.

“We are very confident the Wellington agency market will be happy to see Ros back in their working-lives. Expect to see a rebranded Shot-Ski at the next event.

“Ros will also take on the role of account managing the Greater Wellington Regional Council business, of which their media portfolio will shortly expand into the Metlink train interiors with new 6m long installations on every unit.

“Ros comes with a wealth of media product knowledge having worked at MSN (now Mi9), Fairfax (now Stuff) and TVNZ.”

She starts on Monday 13 July.
