NZME has announced an extended deadline for its annual Advertising Challenge (formerly known as the Herald Advertising Challenge – now it’s back as the MZME Advertising Challenge). 

“In 2014 we were on the hunt for brilliant campaign ideas and this year the Challenge is back – bigger and better than last year,” NZME said in an unsigned statement.

“You can now create your killer idea and bring it to life using the full suite of NZME platforms. Yep, that’s right; you’re no longer just restricted to Herald properties. It’s time to start thinking radio, digital, print, events, e-commerce. THINK NZME.”

Entries should be submitted to adchallenge@nzme.co.nz by midnight Friday 19 June, “so put your best team forward and show us that campaign you’ve always wanted to do”.

The winning entry will be rewarded with a $400,000 ad campaign at rate card value across NZME properties, plus a trip for two team members to the Festival of Media Asia Pacific in Singapore on 20-22 March 2016. The winning team will also be the first recipients of the NZME. Advertising Challenge Cup.

All entries will need a summary of the overall campaign no longer than 1500 words; scamps for all creative executions and a full media plan are also mandatory.
