AUCKLAND, Today: Flying Fish and the Comms Council have released details of the 2019 12th annual Battle of the Ad Bands.
The big show will be held at Galatos in the Auckland CBD on Thursday 17 October, starting at 6.30.
This year’s Botab has been fetchingly titled Bohemian Rocketman.
“With the release of both the Queen and Elton John movies in the last year we just couldn’t decide on one, so it’s both!” said Comms Council ceo Paul Head.
To mark the occasion, each band will sing one Elton and one Queen track – and a wildcard song of their choice from either.
