There’s just one spot left for an agency band to sign up for Botab 2017’s Battle of the Decades . “This,” points out the Comms Council’s Katy Ward, “will be your chance to perform on the Kings Arms stage one last time before it’s demolished.”
From 6pm on Thursday 31 August, each band will fill their 15 minutes with legendary songs from throughout the decades.
“The winning band and lucky punters on the night will take home some amazing prizes thanks to our sponsors: Apex Insurance, Franklin RD, Fortis Travel, Fish & Clips, Mumm, Blunt Umbrellas, Radio Hauraki, DB Breweries, Soar Print, Much Moore, NW Group, Event Cinemas, Prego, Whittakers, My Food Bag, and Vodafone,” Ward says.

For the record, Botab is organised by Flying Fish – who conceived and started the whole epic thing way back when. These days it’s a team effort between Fish and the Comms Council.
