Budapest ad fest taps M+AD ed (entries open now)

M+AD ed David Gapes has accepted an invitation to take part in the online jury for Hungarian national creative ad awards show Hipnozis, organised by leading Budapest-based media + advertising magazine Kreativ. The entry call has already been made (scroll down for the link).

As a licensed partner of The Epica Awards, Hipnozis uses the same judging process, with all entries judged by international journalists, editors, and agency creatives. This year’s awards jury president is Epica head Mark Tungate.

Gapes was a judge at Epica 2016 (and they’ve invited him back – so he must’ve done something right!).

“Hipnozis is expected to announce its call for entries shortly.”

The judging procedure take place between Friday 6 April and Friday 13 April. Around 200 entries are expected.

Hipnozis is the oldest advertising award in Hungary, and the winner of the Ad of the Year Grand Prix will be automatically nominated to the Epica 2018.

It’s a creative award, so entries must be judged on the originality of the creative ideas and the quality of their execution.

There are three main categories: Campaigns, Public Interest Campaigns, and a Diversity category.
