Dictionary Films Tokyo executive producer Peter Grasse – a well-known filmmaker on both sides of the Tasman – chairs a Cannes session this week, entitled Speakers Who Define the Creative Ecosystem.
Grasse has led several engaging conversations at creative & production festivals in the past, including the Lions, the Spikes, AdFest, the Hollywood A-List Awards, BEFest, Tokyo’s Short Shorts Film Festival and Ciclope in Berlin (which included animpromptu interview with Roman Coppola).
This year, he promises Speakers Who Define the Creative Ecosystem will take the audience “to a whole new level”.
He’ll be joined on the Terrace Stage by Sam Spiegel, the founder of Squeak E Clean Music and the producer behind Spike Jonze’s work for Kenzo.
Film Craft jury
Grasse’s time in the Cannes sun will then continue as he joins the Film Craft Jury and leads a class at the Cannes Creative Academy.
There’s also a chance you’ll also see him on stage accepting an award – Dictionary Films Tokyo has two pieces of work in contention.
