AUCKLAND, Friday: For over 100 years, the ADC Annual Awards have pushed creatives to explore new mediums. From early photography and illustration, to moving images in the 1950s, and digital breakthroughs in the 90s, ADC has always looked forward.

Three years ago, ADC introduced an AI-focused discipline. Now, for the ADC 105th Annual Awards, it’s partnered with Dreamina AI on a new challenge for those questioning perfection and asking, “Human creativity isn’t perfect, so why run towards perfection?”

“Human creativity isn’t perfect, so why run towards perfection?”

Introducing AI Visual Design — Dreamina AI. This new category invites creatives to celebrate imperfection, using AI as a collaborator rather than a clean-up tool. Submissions can include video, motion graphics, animation, or still imagery.

Because the category is experimental, entry is completely free. Early registrants will receive 1000 free credits, with standout work judged by an upcoming jury eligible for cash prizes up to $6000.00.

Entries are open now. With time needed to explore Dreamina AI, the deadline extends beyond ADC105’s final date to Friday, March 16.
