AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Mango has been appointed as the PR agency for the Child Psychology Service, a nationwide network of child psychologists and speech therapists for children. There was no pitch, and no incumbent.

The agency is now responsible for leading all media relations to help raise the profile of the business, drive growth and make sure Kiwi parents are aware this important service is available.

The Child Psychology Service founder/director Dr Emma Woodward said: “We are thrilled to be working with the team at Mango who have given us great clarity and excitement about what we can achieve through our communications.

“I came across Mango through a separate project and found them wonderful to work with. I have been impressed with the calibre of their operations, their strategic, creative thinking and their expert understanding of the media landscape.

“The demand for child psychologists in New Zealand has seen an increase in recent years, particularly since March last year when Covid-19 hit our shores, so there’s never been a more opportune time for us to spread the word about what we do.”

Mango Communications Aotearoa MD Claudia Macdonald said: “Dr Woodward had come across us previously through a separate project and saw the value in investing in our services for The Child Psychology Service – it’s a relatively new business so there was no incumbent.

“We are so pleased to be working with the Child Psychology Service, helping to drive growth and raise awareness for the company and the very important support it provides for children and young people.

“As a parent myself, I understand how critical the work they provide is right now.”
