AUCKLAND, Today: Creativity consultant Claire Bridges has been named president of the 2025 Epica Awards jury — the only global creative awards judged entirely by journalists.
Entries are now open, with the early bird period running through to August 31.
Bridges is the founder of Now Go Create, a consultancy that helps people and organisations boost creative thinking. Her clients include Netflix, Disney, Pret A Manger and even the UN.
She’s also a podcaster, author and former Cannes Lions MBA course leader — with roots in PR and a passion for bringing creativity to the business world.
“Journalists have to be able to spot what stands out, what’s making headlines, what’s going to connect culturally.” – Claire Bridges
Bridges has previously judged the Cannes PR Jury and Eurobest Young Lions. She was one of the first female creative directors in the PR industry.
“Journalists have to be able to spot what stands out, what’s making headlines, what’s going to connect culturally. Does it tell a compelling story? And is it relevant beyond the world of advertising?
“They bring a broader and potentially more objective lens to judging creative work. Unlike those embedded in the industry, they’re less likely to be influenced by internal politics, rivalries, or prevailing trends,” Bridges said.
Entries close October 11, with an online ceremony happening December 12.
