LONDON, Friday: New Zealand has performed above its weight at the Oscars of the DM world – the 2020 Caples Awards, winning four Golds, 11 Silvers, and 30 Bronzes.
Colenso BBDO was named #5 in the Most Awarded Agency category.
Colenso’s haul included two Golds, three Silvers and eight Bronzes, while DDB NZ scored one Gold, three Silvers and 10 Bronzes.
“There was a noticeable increase in entries from small, independent agencies and it was of particular pleasure for the Caples jury to award Gold to four-year-old agency YoungShand Auckland.”
YoungShand was the other Kiwi agency to win Gold, plus a Silver and five Bronze.
Clemenger BBDO Wellington secured five Silver and seven Bronze.
Caples official Peter Collister said: “There was a noticeable increase in entries from small, independent agencies and it was of particular pleasure for the Caples jury to award a Gold to four-year-old agency YoungShand of Auckland.”
