Comexposium, the Paris-based outfit that owns the ad:tech, iMedia, MMS and E-Commerce One to One brands, has absorbed its New Zealand JV partner MTS “to deliver a total ANZ event solution”.

The deal will see well-known Transtasman comms exec Ryf Quail return to Sydney to lead the Comexposium ANZ team as managing director, while his current MTS team remains in place as Comexposium employees – giving the company its foothold in New Zealand.

While the business in Australia is well established, the New Zealand JV has been in place for only four years. “But it’s grown very quickly and now delivers five events,” Quail said.

“By combining the two entities, Comexposium now wholly owns nine events across ANZ making it the biggest marketing and innovation event business in this part of the world.

“By bringing the businesses together Comexposium can provide an unrivalled Transtasman event platform creating efficiencies for sponsors, exhibitors and partners in marketing, digital media, advertising and marketing technology, innovation and e-commerce.

“The Comexposium team has been working successfully with Ryf and the NZ team. He is a strong steward of our brands.”

“Global technology providers, agencies and publishers can access both markets through one team and enjoy the efficiencies that creates.”
