AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Integrated creative agency Darkhorse has announced two new hires in its Kingsland office. Hebe Schaefer joins the team as senior creative after previous roles at Fuse and OMD, where she led campaign conception & creative execution for a range of international and local clients including Asahi Beverages, Countdown & Sky Entertainment.

At Darkhorse, Schaefer will work with the creative & strategy team serving principal clients Pernod Ricard, DB Breweries, DHL and L’Oreal.

Morgan Manson joins as communications account director, supporting the communications department in the delivery of key campaigns.

Morgan was previously the communications & social manager at L’Oreal NZ, leading the delivery of numerous campaigns and brand launches across a wide portfolio of FMCG and specialist ranges during her tenure there.

“We’ve seen solid growth in the post-Covid environment and have moved to service the increased need from our clients in the communications and strategy disciplines.”

Darkhorse managing director Mike Hewitt said: “With a strong background in beauty and media public relations, Morgan brings a unique range of skills and deep understanding of media, social and retail landscapes to the agency.

“It’s incredibly exciting to add to our agency family. We’ve seen some solid growth in the market in the post-Covid environment and have moved to service the increased need from our clients in the communications and strategy disciplines.

“Both Hebe and Morgan are talented specialists, bringing with them some excellent experience to the Darkhorse stable.”
