AUCKLAND, Today: The Department of Internal Affairs has brought Dave Clark on board as a key delivery partner for the Government App Programme — a major step in making it easier for Kiwis to access public services.

The project is all about simplifying digital interactions with government. Think of it as a single, secure app that puts a whole bunch of services in one trusted place — on your terms, whenever you need them.

“We’re bringing our rich experience in user-centred design, secure digital infrastructure, and scalable technology solutions to help build a platform that’s intuitive, inclusive, and future-ready,” says Jonathan Tillick, Group Digital Director at Dave Clark.

Dave Clark are teaming up with MATTR, the tech behind the app’s digital wallet and identity features. Together, they’re setting the foundation for a safer, more connected digital future for New Zealanders.

Work is already underway, with the core of the app set to launch by the end of 2025. The goal? To give Kiwis a smooth, responsive and modern way to engage with government.

“We’re proud to be developing a solution that brings the Government’s vision to life. This app is a meaningful step toward a more accessible and responsive public service, designed to benefit all Kiwis.

“We believe in designing with purpose and building with integrity, and we look forward to delivering a product that will serve everyone across the country,” adds Tillick.

Dave Clark is known for creating digital tools that are as secure as they are easy to use — across government, finance, tech, and health. They focus on accessibility, scalability, and smart design from start to finish.
